LOCAL OPT IN

Local authorities in several municipalities and counties across the Magnolia State are starting to opt-out of the Mississippi Medical Marijuana Program, even though the citizens have already made their desire for medical cannabis known loud and clear!

The state of Mississippi overwhelmingly voted to pass Initiative 65 in 2020 (74%), and Governor Reeves finally signed the Medical Cannabis Act into law earlier this year (2/2/22). Now, these local authorities are hastily deciding to opt-out of the program despite unprecedented public support.

We need your help to reverse their rash decision and put the question up for a local popular vote - a referendum to decide once and for all.
